Erlantz Sacristán had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Fortunato Teruel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to San Roman De Campezo CF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marcos Sánchez hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marino Dominguez in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erlantz Sacristán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Goiz Raya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicanor Santalla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Toli Echeto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erlantz Sacristán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marino Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Carlitos Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marino Dominguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erlantz Sacristán came out and tried to block the shot, but Marino Dominguez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. Carlitos Abad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Erlantz Sacristán made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Marino Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Point F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marino Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erlantz Sacristán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anxelu Iglesias hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, El Point F.C.'s Erlantz Sacristán threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marino Dominguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Dimas Villafane fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Point F.C.'s protests and gave Dimas Villafane a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Dimas Villafane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, San Roman De Campezo CF's Valerio Castelao tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Goiz Raya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nicanor Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Goiz Raya managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Roman De Campezo CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Goiz Raya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. El Point F.C.'s Nicanor Santalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save El Point F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, El Point F.C.'s Dimas Villafane got a free kick in the 65th minute. When San Roman De Campezo CF's Goiz Raya in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Point F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, El Point F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Goiz Raya came free, but Nicanor Santalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marino Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erlantz Sacristán having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, San Roman De Campezo CF's goal looked a bit too open when Carlitos Abad came free, but Erlantz Sacristán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, El Point F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Colon Verdu came free, but Nicanor Santalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Goiz Raya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimas Villafane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erlantz Sacristán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marino Dominguez in the 96th minute of play. The San Roman De Campezo CF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Point F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
