Zuriko Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuoco Cuevas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Xuoco Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Bassani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zuriko Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oliver Ucero fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Vallecillo's protests and gave Oliver Ucero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Vallecillo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Oliver Ucero hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Silvestre Tormes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes El Vallecillo got a freekick which was hit by Anakoz Salgado. Tebaldo Cabanela hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Burkina Faso OwN's Xuoco Cuevas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zuriko Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Concetto Bassani to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Xuoco Cuevas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burkina Faso OwN's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuoco Cuevas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zuriko Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, El Vallecillo's Xesc Bermudez got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Tebaldo Cabanela fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burkina Faso OwN's protests and gave Tebaldo Cabanela a yellow card for diving instead.
