In the 13th minute Bero Guijarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Leseduarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Peon CF's goalkeeper Sebastiano Leseduarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincente Mera. Giro Reyes took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enetz Valerón. Enetz Valerón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Etor Valdés received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Enetz Valerón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giro Reyes in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enetz Valerón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Madrid C.F. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gaizka Rey hit a great ball. Real Madrid C.F.'s Enetz Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etor Valdés in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Giro Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peon CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giro Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enetz Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etor Valdés in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Peon CF booed when Real Madrid C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selmo Bouzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Etor Valdés came free, but Enetz Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Peon CF's Etor Valdés sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enetz Valerón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Peon CF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sebastiano Leseduarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bero Guijarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aita Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Venceslás Camarasa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aita Astudillo, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
