Urdin Pena struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ventura Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viguria AD. Natalio Novo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Blai Bergada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ventura Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urdin Pena in the 29th minute of the match. Ventura Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Pepillo Briso sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Demetrio Encina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viguria AD's Urdin Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albacete UD's Ventura Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urdin Pena in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Albacete UD's Ventura Fernandez got control of the ball when Pepillo Briso tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Novo in the 46th minute of play forced Viguria AD's goalkeeper Marquez Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Albacete UD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Goi Toledo hit a great ball. Urdin Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Ventura Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Novo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pepillo Briso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Novo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquez Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Demetrio Encina charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Encina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Viguria AD booed when Albacete UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Encina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Natalio Novo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albacete UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Novo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pepillo Briso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viguria AD's Marquez Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Viguria AD from getting a goal against them. After 71 played minutes Albacete UD got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Cifuentes. Viguria AD's Urdin Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blai Bergada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Natalio Novo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albacete UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Novo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquez Cordoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepillo Briso in the 89th minute of play forced Albacete UD's goalkeeper Ventura Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Albacete UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Encina to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Urdin Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viguria AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Urdin Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ventura Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ventura Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepillo Briso in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
