After 9 played minutes Trueba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oro Zubizarreta. Abrahan Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almarín Bodelon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Bilbo Rey made a precise shot to the right of Abrahan Morales. BIGOTING DE GIJON's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Trueba F.C.'s Bilbo Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abrahan Morales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fernando Hierro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Torres in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, BIGOTING DE GIJON's Garoa Santalla got a free kick in the 27th minute. Abrahan Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oro Zubizarreta in the 31st minute of the match. If Angel Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Almarín Bodelon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of BIGOTING DE GIJON's Abrahan Morales. Abrahan Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abrahan Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oro Zubizarreta in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Trueba F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Josu Albizua made the kick off in the second half. Bilbo Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Abrahan Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josu Albizua kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Almarín Bodelon scored 0-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abrahan Morales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bilbo Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 76 minutes, Almarín Bodelon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trueba F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Almarín Bodelon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almarín Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Garoa Santalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BIGOTING DE GIJON's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Oro Zubizarreta scored to the left of an out of position Abrahan Morales, making the score, 0-6. With a little luck, BIGOTING DE GIJON's Abrahan Morales got control of the ball when Bilbo Rey tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilbo Rey in the 87th minute of play forced BIGOTING DE GIJON's goalkeeper Abrahan Morales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angel Torres fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BIGOTING DE GIJON's protests and gave Angel Torres a yellow card for diving instead. Angel Torres hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, BIGOTING DE GIJON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Palomar to maneuver through the defense. Abrahan Morales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Almarín Bodelon in the 94th minute. Bilbo Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abrahan Morales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Trueba F.C. played a much better game than BIGOTING DE GIJON and deserved their victory. The BIGOTING DE GIJON players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
