Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uriel Pardo kicked off to start the match. When Uriel Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Puertomingalvo SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Pardo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macario Uria in the 10th minute of play forced Puertomingalvo SAD's goalkeeper Hustaz Verdaguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Goiz Morales got free with Hustaz Verdaguer in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Guanabacoa Team's Adalberto Esperta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Macario Uria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hustaz Verdaguer. Macario Uria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Hustaz Verdaguer came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanabacoa Team's Goiz Morales. But to his dismay, Goiz Morales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Uriel Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The wind increased when Macario Uria made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Macario Uria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hustaz Verdaguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 57th minute Macario Uria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hustaz Verdaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Uriel Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Xerardo Clemente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanabacoa Team and the Puertomingalvo SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Puertomingalvo SAD booed when Guanabacoa Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guanabacoa Team's goalkeeper Javier Gomar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hustaz Verdaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goiz Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canor Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Guanabacoa Team's Joaquin Titos got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Mero Jurado fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanabacoa Team's protests and gave Mero Jurado a yellow card for diving instead. Uriel Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Gomar having to interfere. Javier Gomar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Canor Sancho in the 84th minute. Canor Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Gomar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Uriel Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guanabacoa Team getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dagoberto Galego hit a great ball. When Uriel Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Puertomingalvo SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Pardo couldn't finish the play. Puertomingalvo SAD's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Guanabacoa Team had won, even though Puertomingalvo SAD had held more of the ball.
