Gervasio Jurado might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliviero Rallo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Jurado ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nueros SD's Telesforo Dulce in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olias's goalie prevented a goal. Rogelio Sampil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Olias's zone, Rogelio Sampil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Currito Ponte came out of the goal and Rogelio Sampil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julián Nunez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Currito Ponte firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 25th minute, Rogelio Sampil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Currito Ponte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rogelio Sampil kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nueros SD's Oliviero Rallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montay Teruel in the 31st minute of play. Nueros SD's Rogelio Sampil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Currito Ponte but with some difficulty. If Montay Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliviero Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montay Teruel in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Montay Teruel made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Julián Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Currito Ponte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Honorato Estrada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueros SD the free kick. A collision led to Olias getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Honorato Estrada hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Julián Nunez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Currito Ponte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Olias got a freekick which was hit by Montay Teruel. Telesforo Dulce hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Nueros SD's Telesforo Dulce in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olias's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olias's goalkeeper Currito Ponte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nueros SD's Julián Nunez got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telesforo Dulce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Currito Ponte having to interfere. The supporters of Nueros SD booed when Olias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montay Teruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nueros SD could leave the field as winners, despite Olias having more of the ball for most of the match.
