In the 12th minute, Hami Mandıralı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quirce Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 played minutes Clot got a freekick which was hit by Iker Abascal. 21 minutes into the match, Clot's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Hidalgo came free, but Quirce Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Albano Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clot's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taurino Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazario Hidalgo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quirce Montes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Emilio Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Viejo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Taurino Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nazario Hidalgo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hami Mandıralı during the 51st minute. After 77 played minutes Clot got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Barrientos. Nazario Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vermudo Sarro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Clot's goalkeeper Quirce Montes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazario Hidalgo. Hami Mandıralı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Quirce Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Clot's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Hidalgo came free, but Quirce Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
