The referee ignored CD Barco's protests and gave Delmiro Laredo a yellow card for diving instead. Delmiro Laredo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to El Señor Cartucho getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adrián Checa hit a great ball. Nuno Nobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Domeka Palacios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aritz Alcalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aritz Alcalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domeka Palacios in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Domeka Palacios notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CD Barco's Aritz Alcalde. Aritz Alcalde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, El Señor Cartucho's Fulgencio Estruch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aritz Alcalde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Adrián Checa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aritz Alcalde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Señor Cartucho. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Peio Redondo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Aritz Alcalde. Peio Redondo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aritz Alcalde. Aritz Alcalde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nuno Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aritz Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Barco's Aritz Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Redondo in the 46th minute of play. When Domeka Palacios came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the El Señor Cartucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domeka Palacios couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Iñaki Llorente made the kick off in the second half. Domeka Palacios might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aritz Alcalde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domeka Palacios ran back to his position shaking his head. Peio Redondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aritz Alcalde having to make a save. Peio Redondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aritz Alcalde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Dacio Lacorte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domeka Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Nuno Nobo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peio Redondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aritz Alcalde having to make a save. Aritz Alcalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domeka Palacios in the 66th minute of play. Adrián Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrián Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Nobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domeka Palacios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aritz Alcalde came out and tried to block the shot, but Domeka Palacios slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the CD Barco defense, Nuno Nobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aritz Alcalde. The CD Barco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aritz Alcalde should have stopped the shot. Peio Redondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iñaki Llorente's late challenge caught a El Señor Cartucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iñaki Llorente helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Iñaki Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Señor Cartucho's Peio Redondo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iñaki Llorente hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Peio Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aritz Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aldo Babia came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the El Señor Cartucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Babia couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 96 in the game by Peio Redondo from a close distance when the talented Aritz Alcalde managed to make a qualified save. CD Barco's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded El Señor Cartucho left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CD Barco.
