The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norino Erosa during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julián Llorca might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garibaldo Dulce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julián Llorca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th match minute, Ugena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodas Solo to maneuver through the defense. The Carcastillo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Carcastillo AFC's Xusto Puig looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xusto Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polifemo Carrasco having to interfere. 20 minutes in the game, Nereo Campello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Polifemo Carrasco having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Julián Llorca made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Carcastillo AFC's Garibaldo Dulce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Carcastillo AFC's Fredo Idiaquez got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Carcastillo AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ugena:s goal. Ugena's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Nereo Campello scored to the left of an out of position Polifemo Carrasco, making the score, 2-3. A collision led to Carcastillo AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rafa Fernandez hit a great ball. Carcastillo AFC's Garibaldo Dulce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Llorca in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Ugena were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezker Merino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garibaldo Dulce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezker Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 53 minutes, Julián Llorca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ugena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julián Llorca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garibaldo Dulce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezker Merino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Carcastillo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julián Llorca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carcastillo AFC's Garibaldo Dulce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Carcastillo AFC from getting a goal against them. Ugena were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Carcastillo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yago Reina took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xusto Puig in the 62nd minute of play forced Ugena's goalkeeper Polifemo Carrasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nereo Campello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garibaldo Dulce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezker Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Belarmino Herrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carcastillo AFC and the Ugena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Carcastillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belarmino Herrero to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Ezker Merino took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Garibaldo Dulce to make any attempt to save it. Carcastillo AFC's Nereo Campello got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xusto Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Nereo Campello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ugena's Polifemo Carrasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Polifemo Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Campello in the 80th minute of play. Ezker Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garibaldo Dulce having to interfere. The supporters of Carcastillo AFC booed when Ugena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Solo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garibaldo Dulce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ezker Merino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 88 minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Yago Reina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carcastillo AFC the free kick. A collision led to Ugena getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yago Reina hit a great ball. Julián Llorca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ugena's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
