In the 69th minute of the game, Oxel Vidal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Erandio AFC's Orti Valdés was substituted for Oxel Vidal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balesio Sarrate in the 75th minute of play forced Erandio AFC's goalkeeper Rosalio Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los leones espatanos C.F's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
