When Petri Darroja came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Oria AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petri Darroja couldn't finish the play. Oria AFC's Oihan Feal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Oria AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Franco Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oihan Feal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dei Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabri Sancho having to interfere. Hugo Cazorla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Oihan Feal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reno Marquez in the 19th minute. Oihan Feal was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Moises Enmanuel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Enmanuel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Reno Marquez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Oria AFC's Oihan Feal. Oihan Feal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oihan Feal made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Herman Grönberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Franco Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oihan Feal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Oria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Martelli came free, but Oihan Feal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, rayo vallecano's Oihan Feal threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franco Martelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dei Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petri Darroja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oihan Feal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Martelli in the 57th minute of play. Franco Martelli struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Oihan Feal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for rayo vallecano. 65 minutes into the match, Oria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Martelli came free, but Oihan Feal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, rayo vallecano's Herman Grönberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oihan Feal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Herman Grönberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oihan Feal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oihan Feal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Martelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Oihan Feal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oria AFC's Oihan Feal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Martelli in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, rayo vallecano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Grönberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Petri Darroja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petri Darroja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabri Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herman Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Franco Martelli made a precise shot to the right of Oihan Feal. Oria AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. rayo vallecano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
