Llanos Del Caudillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Ponciano Griego reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aristides Marrero. The goal made the score 1-1. Esteban Huarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aristides Marrero made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Ogoyski during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Ogoyski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Victor Serra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llanos Del Caudillo's Lorencio Barrientos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Cuervas in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Adolfo Cuervas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Lorencio Barrientos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

56 minutes into the match, Hondo Griful notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Alaves FC's Aristides Marrero. Aristides Marrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorencio Barrientos made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Adolfo Cuervas sent off a good shot on target. Ponciano Griego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Adolfo Cuervas made a precise shot to the right of Lorencio Barrientos. Llanos Del Caudillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Alaves FC's Aristides Marrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jusepe Perez in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Torres in the 79th minute of play forced Llanos Del Caudillo's goalkeeper Lorencio Barrientos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Llanos Del Caudillo's Martin Ogoyski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Marrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Claude Guasch charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claude Guasch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ogoyski in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Marrero saved Alaves FC from getting behind. Aristides Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ogoyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Llanos Del Caudillo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
