Xusto Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierres Sánchez in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, BURJA-SPORT C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Olivar Sauca came free, but Justino Arraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mané Santander came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Castiñeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Santander couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Castiñeira's Bertol Marin got a free kick in the 10th minute. Justino Arraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Santander in the 13th minute of the match. Pierres Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Xusto Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Cienfuegos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xusto Delgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Pierres Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Xusto Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Arraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Sauca in the 23rd minute of play. Pierres Sánchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xusto Delgado having to make a save. If Olivar Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of BURJA-SPORT C.F.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Castiñeira. Benedicto Vuelta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Justino Arraz. 0-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castiñeira's goalkeeper Xusto Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Castiñeira's goalkeeper Xusto Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Cienfuegos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierres Sánchez to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Pierres Sánchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BURJA-SPORT C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Castiñeira's Olivar Sauca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justino Arraz. That made the score 1-2 after 56 minutes of play. Dario Cienfuegos might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xusto Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Cienfuegos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in BURJA-SPORT C.F.'s zone, Olivar Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Arraz came out of the goal and Olivar Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mané Santander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Justino Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierres Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xusto Delgado having to interfere. When BURJA-SPORT C.F.'s Pierres Sánchez in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
