In the 30th minute Fagondo Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tavio Vagrande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Fidel Soler managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHAVO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Soler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovando Cifuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Meson De Herosa booed when CHAVO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blasi Sierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Batuecas took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tavio Vagrande. Tavio Vagrande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The CHAVO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meson De Herosa were winning 0-2.

Tavio Vagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagondo Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Soler in the 72nd minute of play forced Meson De Herosa's goalkeeper Ovando Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fagondo Camacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tavio Vagrande. That made the score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Meson De Herosa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
