CDT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Ramirez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 22nd minute Mario Alavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anxel Babia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Anxel Babia managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when San Fernando AFC's Aarón Zaplana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mario Alavedra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugeniusz Piwowarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anxel Babia having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Piwowarski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CDT's Anxel Babia. Anxel Babia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Anxel Babia made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Ramirez made a kick off. Tello Acha made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Alejandro Cardeñosa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Piwowarski in the 64th minute of play forced CDT's goalkeeper Anxel Babia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Marcos Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Fernando AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anxel Babia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anxel Babia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ramirez in the 69th minute of the match. Boniel Bueno was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Ariando Otero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tello Acha was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When Ciceron Mayol fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDT's protests and gave Ciceron Mayol a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CDT's Ciceron Mayol got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tello Acha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceandro Marquez in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Fernando AFC fully deserved thier win.
