Rogelio Feal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergi Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Tolino Belalcaraz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the KARAMELO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolino Belalcaraz couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute of the match Nemesio Valines sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergi Balboa skillfully saved the ball. When Gelacio Perpiñán came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the KARAMELO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelacio Perpiñán couldn't finish the play. Sergi Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelacio Perpiñán in the 31st minute of play. Tolino Belalcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gelacio Perpiñán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergi Balboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Feal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergi Balboa saved Torre Melgarejo from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Feal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergi Balboa was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute Rogelio Feal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergi Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolino Belalcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Torre Melgarejo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KARAMELO FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orti Mondejar made a kick off. Sergi Balboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gelacio Perpiñán showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. KARAMELO FC's Gelacio Perpiñán got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergi Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natal Varela in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Torre Melgarejo defense, Tolino Belalcaraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergi Balboa. The Torre Melgarejo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergi Balboa should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Torre Melgarejo's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Feal came free, but Sergi Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Tolino Belalcaraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergi Balboa. Tolino Belalcaraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. With his leg Sergi Balboa managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when KARAMELO FC's Rogelio Feal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th match minute, Torre Melgarejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Bartumeu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Torre Melgarejo's Israel Morcego got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gelacio Perpiñán managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARAMELO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelacio Perpiñán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergi Balboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Feal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergi Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gelacio Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
