Cruz Dagora made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ireno Huguet sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Villena CD's goal looked a bit too open when Lano Manrique came free, but Cruz Dagora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lano Manrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, one of Villena CD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd match minute, Santa Ponça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ireno Huguet to maneuver through the defense. Ireno Huguet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Santa Ponça's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lano Manrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Dagora having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santa Ponça's Arnaitz Murcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Ponça from getting a goal against them. Villena CD's Cruz Dagora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lano Manrique in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villena CD's zone, Lano Manrique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cruz Dagora came out of the goal and Lano Manrique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruz Dagora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lano Manrique in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Santa Ponça's Lano Manrique nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cruz Dagora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ireno Huguet in the 89th minute of play forced Villena CD's goalkeeper Cruz Dagora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Santa Ponça booed when Villena CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliazar Casillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaitz Murcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Castelao, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cruz Dagora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ireno Huguet in the 96th minute of the match.
