Lawrence Harroyo's shot from long distance in the 9th minute was not bad at all, but Luco De Bordon's Taurino Santalla knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Rigoberto Rajoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Serafín Bellido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taurino Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iñigo Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Rajoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafín Bellido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Rajoi ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to El Clú getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Garcilaso Vicente hit a great ball. Aratz Rodriguez, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Serafín Bellido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Rajoi in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Luco De Bordon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlo Casero to maneuver through the defense. Taurino Santalla made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Victorino Castan sent off a good shot on target. Serafín Bellido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacobo Solo in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes El Clú got a freekick which was hit by Estefan Rosario.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iñigo Martin to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Iñigo Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Castan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Clú's Serafín Bellido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save El Clú from getting a goal against them. Luco De Bordon's Taurino Santalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Castan in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luco De Bordon's Quinito Sánchez got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes, El Clú's Lawrence Harroyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taurino Santalla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Clú reached it. After 69 played minutes El Clú got a freekick which was hit by Gomesano Rico. In the 73rd minute, Xacobo Solo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Luco De Bordon's Ascencio Candela got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Xacobo Solo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Unai Cabezas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luco De Bordon's protests and gave Unai Cabezas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Clú booed when Luco De Bordon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unai Cabezas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iñigo Martin in the 89th minute of play forced Luco De Bordon's goalkeeper Taurino Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Garcilaso Vicente fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Clú's protests and gave Garcilaso Vicente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, El Clú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garcilaso Vicente to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle.
