Calisto Castellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Marines, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Armando Marines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Calisto Castellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lluciano Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Estrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Quintan Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Poponcios CF's Xuan Mondejar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calisto Castellano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xuan Mondejar sped through San Vicente Del Raspeig FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calisto Castellano. Eron Montero struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lluciano Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Vicente Del Raspeig FC. Eron Montero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lluciano Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuan Mondejar in the 28th minute of play forced San Vicente Del Raspeig FC's goalkeeper Calisto Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calisto Castellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Marines in the 32nd minute of play. The referee ignored San Vicente Del Raspeig FC's protests and gave Aurelio Pascua a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Pascua hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Marines kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Calisto Castellano. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Armando Marines was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Xuan Mondejar might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calisto Castellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xuan Mondejar ran back to his position shaking his head. Calisto Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Marines in the 60th minute of the match. Xuan Mondejar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Calisto Castellano made a huge save. After a rather tough play, San Vicente Del Raspeig FC's René Rodriguez got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Armando Marines came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Poponcios CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Marines couldn't finish the play. Reyes Estrada hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Poponcios CF's Evaristo Veloso tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Calisto Castellano managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Poponcios CF's Xuan Mondejar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Armando Marines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Armando Marines fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 84 minutes into the game, Armando Marines recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calisto Castellano. Armando Marines showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Poponcios CF's Xuan Mondejar managed to work through San Vicente Del Raspeig FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Xuan Mondejar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Armando Marines, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Calisto Castellano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Poponcios CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
