Black Guitar's Guter Acha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Bodelon in the 60th minute of play. When Tadeo Olmedo fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Guitar's protests and gave Tadeo Olmedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Tadeo Olmedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Guitar's Iyan Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Saboya in the 70th minute of play forced Black Guitar's goalkeeper Guter Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
