Benet Estruch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Cañadas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Bernardino Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Real Zaragoza SAD's Benet Estruch got control of the ball when Arias Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adán Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Saboya in the 15th minute of play. Benet Estruch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Cañadas in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Bernardino Jaraba notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Real Zaragoza SAD's Benet Estruch. Benet Estruch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Real Zaragoza SAD defense, Bernardino Jaraba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benet Estruch. The Real Zaragoza SAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benet Estruch should have stopped the shot. If Bernardino Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Anaya to make the kick off. Clemente Rosas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Eduardo Saboya charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Saboya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benet Estruch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Cañadas in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benet Estruch saved Real Zaragoza SAD from getting behind. Benet Estruch came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by laguna de duero C.F.'s Bernardino Jaraba. But to his dismay, Bernardino Jaraba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 71 minutes into the game, laguna de duero C.F.'s Bernardino Jaraba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benet Estruch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Bernardino Jaraba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benet Estruch having to make a save. Adán Figueres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Bodelon in the 80th minute. Benet Estruch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Anaya in the 84th minute of the match. Real Zaragoza SAD's Benet Estruch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Anaya in the 88th minute of play. Bernardino Jaraba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. laguna de duero C.F.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
