When Cordarin Abasalo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azara's protests and gave Cordarin Abasalo a yellow card for diving instead. Cordarin Abasalo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Azara getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ray Flores hit a great ball. Calvet Ponce De Leon's late challenge caught a Azara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvet Ponce De Leon helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Academia Alcobendas got a freekick which was hit by Calvet Ponce De Leon. The audience was convinced that Fortun Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ximeno Rivas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Azara's Valdo Taules played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Silva in the 31st minute of play. Javier Bermejo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Joseba Bouzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Taules saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Azara's goal looked a bit too open when Joseba Bouzon came free, but Valdo Taules reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Gorka Martin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ximeno Rivas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Joseba Bouzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Joseba Bouzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Alcobendas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseba Bouzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Silva was the one to do the kick off. Matias Palencia kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Sebastián Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Alcobendas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Matias Palencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseba Bouzon got free with Valdo Taules in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier Bermejo was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Azara's Javier Bermejo got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Academia Alcobendas's Sebastián Silva in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azara's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the game, one of Azara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valdo Taules went to the wrong direction when Paulin Cordoba was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Academia Alcobendas's Joseba Bouzon got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joseba Bouzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Academia Alcobendas's goal looked a bit too open when Gorka Martin came free, but Ximeno Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseba Bouzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Academia Alcobendas's Sebastián Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdo Taules narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Academia Alcobendas's Paulin Cordoba got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valdo Taules. 95 minutes into the match, Azara's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Silva came free, but Valdo Taules reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Academia Alcobendas's Sebastián Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdo Taules. That made the score 1-3 after 97 minutes of play. Academia Alcobendas played a much better game than Azara and deserved their victory. The Azara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
