Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) kurtinaitis's Igor Barroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Igor Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. kurtinaitis's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgio Nunez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Malanyeu getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sancho Verdeja hit a great ball. When Lalo Morales fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malanyeu's protests and gave Lalo Morales a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Malanyeu got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Morales. In the 17thth minute of the game Igor Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malanyeu's Giorgio Nunez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Igor Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgio Nunez. Malanyeu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Giorgio Nunez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by kurtinaitis's Igor Barroso. But to his dismay, Igor Barroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Giorgio Nunez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Giorgio Nunez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Barroso's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Joel Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, kurtinaitis's Rogelio Morcego made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgio Nunez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Malanyeu defense, Iwan Liermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giorgio Nunez. The Malanyeu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giorgio Nunez should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elixio Idiaquez to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Barroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giorgio Nunez. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. In the 62nd minute Rogelio Morcego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Malanyeu's Giorgio Nunez got control of the ball when Yuri Herrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, kurtinaitis's Igor Barroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giorgio Nunez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giorgio Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pio Lagunas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiyo Pedrosa in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yiyo Pedrosa in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pio Lagunas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Igor Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giorgio Nunez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Barroso in the 90th minute. Igor Barroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgio Nunez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Barroso ran back to his position shaking his head.
