Celedonio Buenafuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Calderon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Costa having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Christian Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eustaquio Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matthew Prieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Arcadio Teruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matthew Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The IFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arroa were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celedonio Buenafuente made a kick off. Celedonio Buenafuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Abelardo Calderon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Arroa defense, Frederick Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Calderon. The Arroa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Calderon should have stopped the shot. Christian Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eustaquio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Carrasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Calderon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Carrasco ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 70 minutes, Celedonio Buenafuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Buenafuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Christian Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eustaquio Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arroa's Abelardo Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Buenafuente in the 91st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Matthew Prieto put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Eustaquio Costa. When the final whistle sounded Arroa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFC.
