After a rather tough play, Gimeno SAD's Benito Zapatero got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Hans Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes Gimeno SAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xines Montaña who took care of the corner kick. Xines Montaña made a great header on Real Ustagui C.F.'s corner, it was just that Gimeno SAD's Timoteo Ribas managed to reach the ball for a save. 12 minutes into the match, Gimeno SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Karlsson came free, but Timoteo Ribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Hans Karlsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gimeno SAD's Timoteo Ribas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelayo Alabern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Casals in the 19th minute of play. Frechoso Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Real Ustagui C.F.'s Hans Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Ribas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emanuele Papetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Ustagui C.F.'s Xines Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuele Papetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Timoteo Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Papetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Papetti in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Ribas saved Gimeno SAD from getting behind. Benito Zapatero hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Xines Montaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Real Ustagui C.F. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odon Ponce De Leon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Papetti kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Gimeno SAD's Timoteo Ribas got control of the ball when Emanuele Papetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Ribas having to interfere. If Hans Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Frechoso Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Cazorla lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute, one of Real Ustagui C.F.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Ustagui C.F.. Juan-Alfredo Echavarri took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pelayo Alabern. Pelayo Alabern dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 76 played minutes Real Ustagui C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Xines Montaña. Pelayo Alabern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odon Ponce De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 83 in the game by Emanuele Papetti from a close distance when the talented Timoteo Ribas managed to make a qualified save. Gimeno SAD's players were relieved. Benito Zapatero's late challenge caught a Real Ustagui C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Zapatero helped the player get up and apologised. Benito Zapatero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Benito Zapatero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, Benito Zapatero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Hans Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Papetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Timoteo Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuele Papetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Papetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Timoteo Ribas made a huge save. Gimeno SAD's Timoteo Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Karlsson in the 96th minute of play. Real Ustagui C.F. played a much better game than Gimeno SAD and deserved their victory. The Gimeno SAD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
