Ulf Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Thidén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Thug Life was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Thidén to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tarragona FC booed when Thug Life was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Thidén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Thidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Thug Life was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 杜亮坤 to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Tarragona FC's Edgardo Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gení Sampil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pere Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tarragona FC's Efren Briso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio de Castro in the 32nd minute of play. Dionisio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Edgardo Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarragona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Tarragona FC's Edgardo Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efren Briso came out of the goal and Antônio de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Antônio de Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Efren Briso, 3-1. Gení Sampil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polifemo Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gení Sampil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polifemo Vilanova in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Tarragona FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Ramos. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Thug Life. Francesco Monte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Efren Briso. 3-2. In the 90th minute Edgardo Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gení Sampil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st of the match, Antônio de Castro tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Efren Briso got in the way and made a wonderful save. Thug Life were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tarragona FC to leave the ground with a draw.
