After a defensive mix-up in FCSB's zone, Timo Zárate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Fuster came out of the goal and Timo Zárate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hitz Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timo Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Zárate in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Fuster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvito Garate during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvito Garate to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Baltanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hitz Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hitz Nunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Baltanas in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Club Henderson's Timo Zárate made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Fuster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Henderson's Ermegildo Clos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andoni Quesada to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Fuster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Maroto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Santiago Baltanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hitz Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Club Henderson were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Santiago Baltanas made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Santiago Baltanas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hitz Nunez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Leon Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitz Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hitz Nunez having to interfere. In the 68th minute Santiago Baltanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitz Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Llorenc Cordoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Henderson's Hitz Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Baltanas in the 80th minute of play. Santiago Fuster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timo Zárate in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Leon Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitz Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Zárate took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Fuster. Santiago Fuster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The Club Henderson players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FCSB from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
