Edilberto Valdés's late challenge caught a cartagena city's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of cartagena city booed when Salamanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nabar Briso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cambranes Palomares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaquiel Jofre in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Flavio Camara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cambranes Palomares was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 95th minute Flavio Camara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cambranes Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
