Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fonso Castillo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fonso Castillo in the 4th minute of play forced Sportivo Lugo's goalkeeper Asier Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asier Labarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fonso Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Fonso Castillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Lugo's Asier Labarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the game Basilio Avila made a throw-in which Argi Acosta played forward. Zuberoa Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asier Labarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizkine Quevedo in the 16th minute of play. If Fonso Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuberoa Marquez took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asier Labarra. Asier Labarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zuberoa Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fonso Castillo sped through Sportivo Lugo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asier Labarra. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Fonso Castillo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Asier Labarra. After 31 minutes of play, Pulpo de Tierra's Zuberoa Marquez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asier Labarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuberoa Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asier Labarra having to interfere. Loramendi Mendez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Zuberoa Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Asier Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fonso Castillo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asier Labarra saved Sportivo Lugo from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Lalla Mendez notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sportivo Lugo's Asier Labarra. Asier Labarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ximen Soldado made the kick off in the second half. Fonso Castillos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Asier Labarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Fonso Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Txema Lama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fonso Castillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Asier Labarra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ximen Soldado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caton Ladra having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Zuberoa Marquez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Asier Labarra. The goal made the score 0-7. Fonso Castillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Asier Labarra made a huge save.
