When Oxel Mas fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barranco Hondo SAD's protests and gave Oxel Mas a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Bouzas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Teruel. Barranco Hondo SAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in RCDEspanyol's zone, Macerio Goyanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Fuster came out of the goal and Macerio Goyanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Iraitz Grau with Carlitos De la Torre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Marco Teruel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtzi Camara went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of RCDEspanyol booed when Barranco Hondo SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mero Doblas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, RCDEspanyol's Urtzi Camara made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Teruel was left in no man's land by his defense there!
