Apolo Rivera made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cayo Ibanez sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Ertorm AD's Apolo Rivera threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benedicto Abancens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience cheered when Anton Barroso's long shot passed Venceslao Astudillo's right side. It was 0-1, 8 minutes into the match. Koldo Ribas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ertorm AD getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ranolfo Rienda hit a great ball. Apolo Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Abancens in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koldo Ribas in the 28th minute of play forced Ertorm AD's goalkeeper Venceslao Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayo Ibanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolino Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Apolo Rivera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Jose-Juan Gonzalvez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venceslao Astudillo skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koldo Ribas made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koldo Ribas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venceslao Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Benedicto Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Paços Ferreira's Apolo Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Abancens in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, FC Paços Ferreira's Koldo Ribas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venceslao Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Abancens in the 67th minute of play forced FC Paços Ferreira's goalkeeper Apolo Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venceslao Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koldo Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Paços Ferreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Abancens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Camilo Fuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslao Astudillo having to interfere. Cayo Ibanez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Cayo Ibanez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Paços Ferreira's Apolo Rivera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Baldemer Bargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ertorm AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Paços Ferreira the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ertorm AD's zone, Camilo Fuente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venceslao Astudillo came out of the goal and Camilo Fuente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
