Clemente Segura acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Llope Villanueva. 24 minutes into the game, Samuel Zubiaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Walme Soldado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Samuel Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Segura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, Nazario Pabon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Clemente Segura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clemente Segura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Llorca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Segura having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
