With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Sancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, O Padron's goalkeeper Albano Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Vidal. Albano Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeru Santiago in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Vistruario Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeru Santiago got free with Albano Sancho in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castropol SAD's Epicuro Palencia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albano Sancho but with some difficulty. If Vistruario Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vistruario Galego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castropol SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Vistruario Galego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Vistruario Galego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Sancho was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 61 minutes into the match, O Padron's goal looked a bit too open when Valentino Sánchez came free, but Albano Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
