Atauri De Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blai Ibanez in the 9th minute of play. Cistella's Timoteo Sirvent got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Sirvent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joselito Rajoi in the 17th minute of play forced Cistella's goalkeeper Atauri De Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cistella getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tello Salan hit a great ball. Atauri De Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blai Ibanez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Ucero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Ucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, one of Cistella:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cistella. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joselito Rajoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nalbuena's supporters rose to their feet, but Joselito Rajoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atauri De Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 31 in the game by Luke Barba from a close distance when the talented Michael Roca managed to make a qualified save. Nalbuena's players were relieved. Cistella's Atauri De Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blai Ibanez in the 36th minute of play. Timoteo Sirvent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Roca having to interfere. When Elian Jaraba fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nalbuena's protests and gave Elian Jaraba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cistella booed when Nalbuena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elian Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Ucero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Roca. Nalbuena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luke Barba took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Roca. Michael Roca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 59th minute Luke Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cistella's Atauri De Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cistella from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Aurelio Marcilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Barba in the 76th minute of play forced Nalbuena's goalkeeper Michael Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
