After some careless play in the CORTIZAS F.C defense, Celso Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tabb Gonzalvez. The CORTIZAS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tabb Gonzalvez should have stopped the shot. Fidencio Calvo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tabb Gonzalvez came out and tried to block the shot, but Fidencio Calvo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Celso Machado struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tabb Gonzalvez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baio SD. Baio SD were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after CORTIZAS F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Zapata took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in CORTIZAS F.C's zone, Fidencio Calvo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tabb Gonzalvez came out of the goal and Fidencio Calvo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidencio Calvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tabb Gonzalvez having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Celso Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CORTIZAS F.C's Tabb Gonzalvez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tabb Gonzalvez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CORTIZAS F.C's Tabb Gonzalvez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Calvo in the 35th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidencio Calvo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Angelino Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baio SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORTIZAS F.C the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Fidencio Calvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tabb Gonzalvez. CORTIZAS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidencio Calvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tabb Gonzalvez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidencio Calvo in the 61st minute of the match. CORTIZAS F.C's Tabb Gonzalvez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Calvo in the 63rd minute of play. Tabb Gonzalvez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidencio Calvo in the 68th minute of the match. Tabb Gonzalvez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Nazario Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Tabb Gonzalvez came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Baio SD's Celso Machado. But to his dismay, Celso Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Celso Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tabb Gonzalvez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, Baio SD's Fidencio Calvo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tabb Gonzalvez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Baio SD fully deserved thier win.
