Llorienzo Zafrilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakup Kuyas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuste Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yakup Kuyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vimianzo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Urdin Nueva hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Tuste Martin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Álamos CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Yakup Kuyas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Álamos CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yakup Kuyas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urdin Nueva charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urdin Nueva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vimianzo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Urdin Nueva hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Urdin Nueva made a precise shot to the right of Prometeo Correa. Los Álamos CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 29th minute Yakup Kuyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llorienzo Zafrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ettore Di Nino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Llorienzo Zafrilla. Vimianzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Di Nino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mergildo Antunez's late challenge caught a Vimianzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mergildo Antunez helped the player get up and apologised. Mergildo Antunez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Vimianzo's goal looked a bit too open when Yakup Kuyas came free, but Llorienzo Zafrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Los Álamos CF were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tuste Martin to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Yakup Kuyas sped through Vimianzo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Llorienzo Zafrilla. Urdin Nueva was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Vimianzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdin Nueva to maneuver through the defense. Los Álamos CF's Ettore Di Nino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vimianzo. After a rather tough play, Vimianzo's Severo Tormes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Yakup Kuyas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vimianzo's Llorienzo Zafrilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Tuste Martin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Llorienzo Zafrilla was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ettore Di Nino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ettore Di Nino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Llorienzo Zafrilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuste Martin in the 90th minute of play. After 93 minutes, Román Domingo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Álamos CF and the Vimianzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tuste Martin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomon Titos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Álamos CF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
