Norberto Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Sanz having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Xarles Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute, Gaizko Planes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Las Valdezuelas CF's Isidoro Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Silva in the 38th minute of play. Norberto Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. If Xorxe Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Julio Candela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Silva made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Las Valdezuelas CF's zone, Máximo Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Sanz came out of the goal and Máximo Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Sanz made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Nando Coello sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Silva in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iban Sánchez got free with Isidoro Sanz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Máximo Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iban Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabiño's Xarles Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Candela in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rabiño's Nando Coello got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rabiño's goalkeeper Xarles Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Máximo Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iban Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Norberto Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isidoro Sanz, passed just outside the right post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Iban Sánchez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 95 minutes into the match, Las Valdezuelas CF's goalkeeper Isidoro Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iban Sánchez. When the match was over Rabiño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Las Valdezuelas CF throughout the match.
