Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Velasco Fuente started the match with the kick off. If Aitor Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chio's Oliviero Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Airas Cabada came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Chio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Airas Cabada couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, Garganta La Olla CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Quintanilla to maneuver through the defense. If Aitor Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andoitz Ballesteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velasco Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Chio's goalkeeper Andoitz Ballesteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aitor Vacas. Tavio Bellido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Airas Cabada in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Garganta La Olla CF's zone, Airas Cabada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tavio Bellido came out of the goal and Airas Cabada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliviero Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavio Bellido having to interfere. When Paulin Alcaraz fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chio's protests and gave Paulin Alcaraz a yellow card for diving instead. Paulin Alcaraz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Tavio Bellido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Airas Cabada in the 42nd minute of the match. Airas Cabada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Airas Cabada made a kick off. Aitor Vacas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andoitz Ballesteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chio's Hegoi Font got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chio's goalkeeper Andoitz Ballesteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliviero Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavio Bellido having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Aitor Vacas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chio's Andoitz Ballesteros. Andoitz Ballesteros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andoitz Ballesteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velasco Fuente in the 72nd minute of play. When Benedicto Vera fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garganta La Olla CF's protests and gave Benedicto Vera a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Garganta La Olla CF got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Vera. Hegoi Font didn't quite understand what happened when in the 80 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Airas Cabada in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tavio Bellido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Oliviero Gimenez put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tavio Bellido. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aitor Vacas in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andoitz Ballesteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute Velasco Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoitz Ballesteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoitz Ballesteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aitor Vacas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes of play Chio's Hegoi Font was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Garganta La Olla CF booed when Chio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegoi Font didn't get a good kick on the ball.
