Isidro Saez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO. 郝坤昆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose-Manuel Millán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 郝坤昆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Isidro Saez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jose-Manuel Millán hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Elorza AFC's zone, Baldemer Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Saez came out of the goal and Baldemer Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Saez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldemer Vidal's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute 郝坤昆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Saez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Saez was a little too slow when 郝坤昆 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jerold Antunez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO booed when Elorza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacito Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldemer Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Saez having to interfere. Elorza AFC's Tacito Hidalgo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO's 郝坤昆 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Saez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 86 minutes in the game, Tacito Hidalgo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Baldemer Vidal scored 3-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Saez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldemer Vidal in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Saez saved Elorza AFC from getting behind. There was no doubt that ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO were the better team. ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
