After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Andreas Granström managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gloriosa Tricolor's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Granström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Sauca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimeno Sauca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtzi Campomanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Andreas Granström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cutian's Jimeno Sauca. Fidel Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Sauca having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Urtzi Campomanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as La Gloriosa Tricolor's Urtzi Campomanes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimeno Sauca. That made the score 0-7 after 61 minutes of play. Urtzi Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Sauca having to interfere. When Nestor Cacheres fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cutian's protests and gave Nestor Cacheres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Cutian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Cacheres to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes La Gloriosa Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Granström. Prudencio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Federico Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cutian's Aratz Palencia got a free kick in the 75th minute. La Gloriosa Tricolor made a substitution. Pedro Edorta replaced Juvenal Zafrilla. Jimeno Sauca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Granström in the 84th minute of play forced Cutian's goalkeeper Jimeno Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Gloriosa Tricolor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
