Notaez AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadiz CF the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Notaez AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy De Pablo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Notaez AD's zone, Ezequiel Aguilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Perez came out of the goal and Ezequiel Aguilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Apal Montero hit a great ball. Esteve Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristián Maldonado in the 71st minute of play. Bruno Aguilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Perez having to interfere. José Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bero Aguilar in the 76th minute of the match.
