The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jordi Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Javier Perpiñán, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 13 played minutes CD Mataos B got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Abascal. Luis-Javier Perpiñán struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jordi Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA MIERDA CENTER. In the 22nd minute, Víctor Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Viejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA MIERDA CENTER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Mataos B the free kick. A collision led to LA MIERDA CENTER getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Leopoldo Viejo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis-Javier Perpiñán in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordi Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iratze Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Sánchez having to interfere. When Iratze Camacho came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the CD Mataos B fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratze Camacho couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, LA MIERDA CENTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlantz Fabelo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iratze Camacho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iratze Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Ciro Guasch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Esteve Sánchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CD Mataos B's Iratze Camacho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to LA MIERDA CENTER getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leopoldo Viejo hit a great ball. Esteve Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iratze Camacho in the 71st minute of the match. Eriz Arraz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jordi Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA MIERDA CENTER. In the 74th minute Luis-Javier Perpiñán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Guasch in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Sánchez saved LA MIERDA CENTER from getting behind. After a rather tough play, LA MIERDA CENTER's Eugenio Urruti got a free kick in the 80th minute. Iratze Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, CD Mataos B's Ciro Guasch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Sánchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 93 played minutes CD Mataos B got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Abascal. Platon Zurica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alvaro Zubizarreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Mataos B had won after a very even match.
