An unexpectedly hard shot by Iratze Camacho in the 12th minute of play forced Alboraya C.F.'s goalkeeper Arcadio Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mero Manrique in the 16th minute of play forced CD Mataos B's goalkeeper Jordi Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vincente Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 20 in the game by Mero Manrique from a close distance when the talented Jordi Freire managed to make a qualified save. CD Mataos B's players were relieved. Mero Manrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordi Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Cruz in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CD Mataos B's Iratze Camacho got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Mero Manrique who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Mataos B's Jordi Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Mataos B's zone, Vincente Amorebieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordi Freire came out of the goal and Vincente Amorebieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Mero Manrique managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alboraya C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mero Manrique was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Mero Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Alboraya C.F.'s Jordi Freire threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Licerio Rosas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jordi Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Sans in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mero Manrique in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordi Freire saved CD Mataos B from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Alboraya C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Zubizarreta came free, but Arcadio Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mero Manrique stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mero Manrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víctor Abascal's late challenge caught a Alboraya C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víctor Abascal helped the player get up and apologised. Víctor Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes CD Mataos B got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Abascal. Jordi Freire didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alboraya C.F.'s Mero Manrique shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Mero Manrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mero Manrique received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jordi Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Iratze Camacho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to CD Mataos B getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
