But to his dismay, Javier De Pablo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cordeal Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Erasto Sánchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernat Ponte went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Lasalle FC's Bernat Ponte in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Murillo's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Losantos to make the kick off. Bernat Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasto Sánchez having to interfere. Murillo's Erasto Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier De Pablo in the 56th minute of play. Sebastián Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Losantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Murillo's goalkeeper Erasto Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernat Ponte. Cordeal Reyes charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordeal Reyes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erasto Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier De Pablo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Javier De Pablo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier De Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier De Pablo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasto Sánchez having to make a save. Sinforiano Manzano charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sinforiano Manzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Javier De Pablo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasto Sánchez was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Javier De Pablo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasto Sánchez. The goal made the score 0-4. 94 minutes into the game, Isaac Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lasalle FC the free kick. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Javier De Pablo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Erasto Sánchez to make any attempt to save it. The Murillo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lasalle FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
