The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sporting Porqueres getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jan-Erik Rydelius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patxi Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Chayo Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Chayo Huguet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Vilarromariz's Jan-Erik Rydelius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaac Alabern. Isaac Alabern yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Patxi Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Alabern having to interfere. Jan-Erik Rydelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Alabern having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Eduardo Elias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilarromariz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Porqueres the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rigoberto Mayor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Porqueres's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Mayor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaac Alabern made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patxi Madariaga in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, Vilarromariz's Patxi Madariaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaac Alabern. Isaac Alabern yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patxi Madariaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Erik Rydelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Isaac Alabern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Patxi Madariaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilarromariz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patxi Madariaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Vilarromariz getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Patxi Madariaga hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Romano Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilarromariz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Porqueres the free kick. Sporting Porqueres's Isaac Alabern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Rydelius in the 91st minute of play. Patxi Madariaga struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Isaac Alabern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilarromariz. In the 97th minute, Jan-Erik Rydelius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilarromariz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
