The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilio March came free, but Pacho Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Garate in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With his leg Liberto Caballero managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s Flavio Garate fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pacho Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio March, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Karmel Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute of the match Oier Saura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pacho Acosta skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Garate was the one to do the kick off. Rep. In the 54thth minute of the game Flavio Garate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basarrate FC's Liberto Caballero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Flavio Garate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liberto Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rep. Dominicna F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s Flavio Garate looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flavio Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liberto Caballero having to interfere. If Xaime Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Basarrate FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Karmel Clos hit a great ball. Liberto Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Garate in the 71st minute of the match. Flavio Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liberto Caballero having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Xaime Calderon notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Basarrate FC's Liberto Caballero. Liberto Caballero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Flavio Garate put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Liberto Caballero. Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s Pacho Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio March in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Basarrate FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sigfrido Alcalde hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes, Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s Cleto Candamil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liberto Caballero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rep. Dominicna F.C. reached it. Liberto Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Garate in the 91st minute of the match. If Karmel Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilio March came free, but Pacho Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rep. Dominicna F.C.'s zone, Emilio March stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacho Acosta came out of the goal and Emilio March tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rep. Dominicna F.C. fully deserved thier win.
