Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Egun Cano got the match started through his kick off. Mendebal Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Leon in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pirro Echavarri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marfagones's supporters rose to their feet, but Pirro Echavarri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonza Sampil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.Holsten's goalkeeper Gonza Sampil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Giorgio Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mendebal Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Leon in the 40th minute of play. If Mino Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermelando Verdu in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mendebal Portillo saved Marfagones from getting behind. Mino Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mendebal Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermelando Verdu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of F.C.Holsten booed when Marfagones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taio Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Hermelando Verdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Mino Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Holsten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mino Leon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Estefan Martinez lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C.Holsten fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Egun Cano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Egun Cano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonza Sampil was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Pirro Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marfagones getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Leonel Verdeja hit a great ball. The supporters of F.C.Holsten booed when Marfagones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pau Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mino Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mendebal Portillo having to interfere. Marfagones's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
