When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeo Mayol made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Gregorio Coira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Ligallo and the Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregorio Coira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Amadeo Mayol got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F.. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Nueva in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Fuentes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santana Macías got free with Alvar Fuentes in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of El Ligallo booed when Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Luis Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Ligallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Nueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elixio Llorente scored 0-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvar Fuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, El Ligallo's Luis Nueva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Ligallo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
