He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porto Colom SD reached it. A collision led to Porto Colom SD getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Esquipula Tobia hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Costante Justo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Fresnos got free with Arnulfo Losantos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Costante Justo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Arnulfo Losantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Justo in the 53rd minute of play. If Fidel Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Losantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Justo in the 59th minute of the match. The tension between the PERALTA FC and the Porto Colom SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PERALTA FC's Cresitobalo Bacete got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arnulfo Losantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Justo in the 79th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arias Carreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Casildo Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the PERALTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casildo Ortiz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geremia Mayor in the 91st minute of play forced Porto Colom SD's goalkeeper Arias Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Fidel Fresnos managed to get in a good position for a shot.
